We-Are-One-Worldwide is a newly established non-profit organization dedicated to harnessing the power of music to foster unity and drive positive social change. Inspired by the timeless melodies of Motown Records, the organization aims to:
- Support the fight against women’s breast cancer
- Encourage entrepreneurial initiatives
- Promote affordable housing
- Improve community relations
Mission Statement:
The legendary Mr. Mickey Stevenson, Motown’s first A&R man, is a strong supporter of We-Are-One-Worldwide. Stevenson adds, “We are reaching out to all musical artists who resonate with the Motown legacy and who want to be part of something bigger than themselves. Together, we can use our collective talent and passion for music to make a real difference in our communities.”

Props For My Brother
Mickey Stevenson is my brother, brother. He has not received his props. He was our first A&R man at Motown. Really the first A&R man ever. Marvin Gaye wanted to be a crooner. Mickey was the one who turned Marvin around to become what we know and love! He convinced Marvin Gaye to sing rhythm and blues. Mickey has special eyes and ears for talented people.
